Hula hoops are a great aerobic work out. Any kind of moving is better then sitting still. Try walking more and cut back on your fatty food consumption. Don’t stop eating it all together but only eat it once in a while. Cut out most soda drinking too because it’s a lot of empty calories.

Hula hooping is a great workout…I have no idea what your mom could be talking about. Also stop eating fattening goods, eliminate them from the house that way you won’t be tempted. Learn to recognize what a portion of each food looks like by doing some research. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Cut out soda completely or only allow yourself to have 1 can every four days or something like that. Drink lots of water. Choose healthy low cal snacks. Get moving. Do something to get your heart rate up for 30 mins or more each day. Also start doing body weight exercises such as squats, lunges, push ups, crunches, plank, etc.

if you have an itouch or iphone id recommend the "lose it" the guy on youtube recommended it and hes been bodybuilding for 23 years (for fun not competitive) ….and i would recommend it too.. but other than that start running…maybe buy a kettlebell….. and work major muscle groups more than minors… minors dont burn as many calories (abs are minor not major!)
