Physical benefits: You’ll be in really good shape. ex) I thought I was in shape when I joined and let’s just say it was tough at the beginning but near the end of the season I was in even better shape (and I lost 15lbs which I wasn’t terribly pleased about). Extra toughness. Most likely, when you start it’s going to hurt a fair amount, but as you get better/used to it it won’t hurt as much, you’ll find out that you can take much more than what you originally thought.

Other benefits: your team’ll be like your family. More so than in any other sport I can think of. You’ll probably spend a lot of time with them and if you stick with them they’ll stick with you through anything. And they’ll protect you when you need it (you should’ve seen how mad my team was when some girl threw me well after the whistle).

But you should know rugby isn’t for everyone. Try it out and stick with it until you’ve played a little and can figure things out more (because it does kinda suck when you start and don’t know anything and have only done practice or one or two games). Then, see what you want to do.

physical benifits are definately stamina you have to do heaps of sprints all game this really builds your fitness also getting tackled naturally will make you tougher and being in a team is great fun to play with my mates plus having knowledge of sport will make you that much closer to being the perfect woman ( i’m a guy of course)
